PROCESS STARTS TO APPOINT NOC CHIEF
Kathmandu, 15 Sept.: A three-member committee headed by Joint Secretary Rajeev Gautam of finance ministry to draw up terms of reference (ToR) to appoint a managing director of Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).
The body was formed by ministry of commerce and supply.
A representative each from commerce and supplies ministry and department of commerce is in the a committee.
A report has to be submitted in 10 days .
NOC Chief Digambar Jha hasn’t been replaced after his dismissal by the previous government.

6h SOUTH Asia-CHINA TRADE FAIR BEGINS
Kathmandu, 15 Sept : The 6th South Asia-China Trade Fair-2011 kicked off on Thursday in the capital, RSS reports.
The Fair will continue for five days. Some 180 stalls of different varieties of products including electronics, automobiles, mobile phones and others developed in Nepal, China, Pakistan, Burma, Japan and India have been kept in the show.
Inaugurating the Fair, Vice President Parmananda Jha said that Nepal was being developed as a transit point for the trade relations between China and SAARC countries.
Referring his China visit, Jha said he was highly influenced by the miraculous physical development of west China. He expressed confidence that such development can be achieved in Nepal too if all Nepalis work hard by being united.
Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Yang Houlan, said the Chinese products are not only familiar in the Nepali markets but also popular.
