ANOTHER RAIN-RELATED DEATH IN KAVRE

COTINUED RAIN TRIGGERS ANOTHER DEATH;CAUSES MORE DAMAGE

Kathmandu, 26 Sept.: A man was killed in
Kavre in a house collapse triggered by continued rain.
Malanghwa in Sarhlahi is waterlogged and schools have been closed down.
People along river banks in the terai district have been alerted as river level rises.
Landslides have closed down sections of the Kathmandu-Kodari highway linking the capital and Tibet.

PM, SUBASH NEMWANG AGREE TO PUSH PEACE PROCESS

Kathmandu, 26 Sept.: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and Speaker Subash Nemwang agreed Monday to try to push the push the delayed peace process and constitution drafting process even when parliament is not in session.
They held consultations immediately after the premier returned home from New York where he attended the annual UN general assembly session.
Bhattarai and Nemwang agreed to push the two processes outside parliament even during the holiday season.
Bhattarai has already predicted the twin processes won’t be completed by the second extended three-month deadline by November end.
