BUDDHA AIR SUSPENDING INTERNAL FLIGHTS MONDAY TO MOURN DEATHS OF 19 PASSENGRS, CREW

Kathmandu, 26 Sept.: Buddha Air is suspending all domestic flights Monday to mourn death of passengers and crew in killed in a crash Sunday, the airline said.
The flights of the private regional carrier will resume Tuesday.
A mountain flight to view majestic Himalayan peaks, including Mount Everest ‘was diverted from its scheduled mountain flight due to adverse weather conditions over the Himalayan peaks,” a statement said.
An internal investigation has been launched
The US-built Beachcraft crashed against a hill around the capital as it was preparing to land.
The cockpit voice recorder/ flight data recorder have been recovered from the crash site o assist an inquiry, the airline said.
