MAOIST OFFICE BEARERS MEET STARTS UPDATE
Kathmandu, 29 Sept.: A meeting of Maoist office bearers began Thursday to promote understanding amid rising intra-party differences over handover of Maoists weapons to government and the signature of a four-point deal of Madeshbadi parties.
First Vice-chairman Mohan Baidya Thursday attended a meeting of party office bearers boycotted by General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa and Secretary CP Gajurel of the Baidya camp.
Office bearers met after Friday’s central committee meet was postponed amid deep party differences.
