NO REQUESTS FOR WORKERS FROM ISRAEL AND SOUTH KOREA

Kathmandu, 28 Sept.: Requests for workers haven’t been received from Israel and South Korea, ministry of labour said.
The denial came amid fears of possible cheating by labour contractors.
Contractors have been asked not to place advertisements in media outlets for job applications in the two popular destinations.

Kathmandu, 28 Sept.: Main opposition NC also joined criticism of Defence Minister Sharat Singh Bhandari Wednesday.
President Sushil Koirala said Bhandari’s public statement was ‘irresponsible’ coming from a responsible leader during a transition period.
