45.46 PERCENT STUDENTS CLEAR PLUS 12 EXAMS.

Kathmandu, 14 Sept. : Altogether 45.46 percent who appeared for this year’s Higher Education Secondary Board (HSEB) examinations passed.
HSBE published results Wednesday.

Among the 236,332 regular and 112,659 partial students, 107,425 and 50,482 cleared the tests respectively.
Last year, 41.9 percent cleared the examination.

NC BANS ACTIVITIES OF SISTER ORGANIZATIONS

Kathmandu, 14 Sept.: Main opposition NC Wednesday banned PUBLIC activities of its sister organizations through a statement issued by office secretary Basanta Gautam.
Activities have been banned until a further directive of the party central committee.
Gautam justified the establishment action saying organization tenures had expired.
The future is being discussed at the central committee, the statement said
Establishment is suggesting fresh organizational elections and appointment bodies opposed by a strong faction led by lSHar Bahadur Deuba.
The central committee meet resumes 20 September.
Deuba supporters charged earlier the establishment faction of President Sushil Koirala was dissolving sister organizations where Deuba has a majority.
