NC NOT TO HOLD DESAIN TEA RECEPTION

Kathmandu, 24 Sept. NC won’t held its regular annual tea reception on Kojagrath Purnima this year as well as a mark of respect for founding member Krishna Prasad Bhattarai, the party said.
The party sidelined him after Bhattarai disassociated himself from NC, once the largest party, after it abandoned a traditional policy of support for constitutional monarchy and multi-party democracy under Girija Prasad Koirala.
But the main opposition honoured Bhattarai honoured hm after his death.
NC didn’t hold such a tea reception last yeae as well when Girija Prasad died.
