Kathmandu, 16 Sept. Election of office bearers of Nepal Engineers’ Association (NEA) got underway Friday morning.
Democrats and progressives are contesting top positions in the Association.
The democratic panel is headed by former Vice-chairman Hareram Shrestha and united progressive panel is led by Mahendra Gurung.
Nearly 8,000 engineers are eligible to cast their ballots.

Kathmandu, 16 Sept. NC President Sushil Koirala is in Nepalgunj.
Nepalgunj is his constituency.
Koirala arrived in the far-West from east Nepal where he participated in programmes related to the 98th birthday of BP Koirala.
