PAHADI IN MADESHI PARTY DENIED DEFENCE MINISTER POST
Kathmandu, 12 Sept.: A division on ethnic line within the Madeshi Janadhikar Fourm (Loktantra) has halted the inclusion of Sharad Singh Bhandari in the council of ministers.
Bhandari who was the choice of the United Democratic Madesh Front (MDMF) senior leaders as the right person heading Ministry of Defence, however, could not make it as a section of his party objected to some one of the ‘hill origin’ getting there, The Reporter reports.

PRACHANDA WENT TO INDIA 10 SEPT.ANOTHER REPORT SAYS.
Kathmandu, 12 Sept.: Former Prime Minister and Maoist Chairman Prachanda entered Indian territory on September 10 without informing government authorities, The Reporters writes.
“His movement was in breach of protocol and conduct expected of someone who has held the highest executive office in the country.
“Even if he had informed the prime minister, his manner of travel to India as reported in the media is objectionable, He has an obligation to inform the state which is responsible for his security,” a senior official told The Reporter.
