PM BHATTARAI DONATES ALLOWANCE TO QUAKE RELIEF FUND
Kathmandu, 28 Sept.: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has donated $2,314 of his travel allowance to the prime minister’s earthquake relief fund, the Office of the Prime Minister said.
Bhattarai returned from his maiden foreign tour this week after addressing the annual general assembly session.
He met President Barak Obama briefly during a photo session with the US president who hosted a reception for world leaders attending UN general assembly session.
Bhattarai’s address to the assembly was sparsely attended, according to New York residents.
