PM BHATTARAI FLIES FOR NEW YORK SUNDAY NIGHT

PM LEAVES FORNEW YORK 11 AT NIGHT

Kathmandu, 18 Sept. Prime Minister Bburam Bhattarai flies for New York 11 at night Sunday in his maiden foreign trip.
He’ll address the annual general assembly session 24 September before returning home next Monday or two days before Ghatastaphnana.
Bhattarai will meet world leaders, including his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh in the sidelines of the assembly session.

866 HAJJ PILGRIMS THIS YEAR

Kathmandu, 18 Sept.: Altogether 866 persons have been selected by the central Hajj committee under the home ministry for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.
The pilgrims will leave third week of October.
A five-member management committee will oversee preparations for the visit.
