Kathmandu, 19 Sept.: Ram Sharan Darnal died Sunday.
He was 74.
Darnal was suffering Parkinson’s disease.
The recipient of Indrarajya Laxmi Purashkar and many other awards was associated for many years with Nepal Prafya Prathisthan and authored many books of Nepali musical instruments and culture.
He was a researcher.

A pacemaker was inserted after a heart attack.
He was admitted to hospital Wednesday.
