TWO NON-INDIAN NAMES FIGURE IN PASSENGERS LISTED ONBOARD CRASHED BUDDHA AIR

Kathmandu, 25 Sept.: Two non-Indian names figured in a list of passengers onboard the ill-fated Buddha Air aircraft that crashed against a hill around Kathmandu Valley Sunday.
The non-Indiannames were Toshiniro and Natalia Nilen [transliterated], according to 24News Channel.
First reports said all foreigners onboard were Indian tourists.
All 19 passengers and crew were killed when a Buddha Air was preparing to land at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) after viewing the world’s tallest peaks, including the 8848 meters high Mount Everest, the world’s tallest peak.
The aircraft crashed against a hill overlooking Godavari.

PM BAHATTARAI RAISES ISSUE OF CASES FILED IN BIHAR COURT AGAINST NEPALI MAOPISTS WITH INDIAN PREMIER SINGH
Kathmandu, 25 Sept.: Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has pledged full support to Nepal for conclusion of peace and statute-making processes. Singh said this during a meeting with PM Bhattarai on the sidelines of the 66th UNGA on Friday, The Himalayan Times reports.

He stressed the need to sort out differences talks, PM Bhattarai’s personal aide Biswodip Pandey said in a statement. He extended an official invitation to Bhattarai to visit India next month. Bhattarai expressed concern about the judgment of an Indian court that has slapped fine and jail term on at least 10 Maoist leaders in absentia for “involvement in activities against India and Nepal back in 2004”. On his part, PM Singh said he has taken the case seriously.
