LIGHTNING KILLS THREE,,INJUERS SIX OVERNIGHT IN UDAIPUR

Kathmandu, 23 Oct. Two sisters aged nine and 11 years were among three persons killed by lightning overnight at two VDCs in Udaipur.
A 62-year woman was among the killed.
Six persons were injured.

ADVANCE NA TEAM DEPLOYED TO IRAQ

Kathmandu, 23 Oct :The first advance team of 16
Nepal Army (NA) personnel flew for Iraq to work with the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI). Altogether 170 personnel participated in the pre-deployment training.
