PROGRESSIVE WRITER KEBALPURE DEAD
Kathmandu, 9 Oct: Progressive literary figure Kebalpure Kisan passed away at the age of 85 on Saturday night, RSS reports.
Real name of Kisan, who was born at Kebalpur of Dhading in Chaitra 29, 1983 BS, is Devi Prasad Poudel.
Afflicted by urine related ailments, he died at 11 PM last night while undergoing treatment at B&B hospital.
He gained popularity among people by composing literary pieces against the Rana oligarchy in 2007 BS.
He had had 11 literary collection including Nepal Nacho-2010 BS, Samatera pachhara-2012 BS, Boko Khasyo, an anthology of poetry and Bagh Aayo-2009.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters.

3-MEMBER FILM DEVELOPMENT BOARD LEAVING FOR SEOUL MEET
Kathmandu, 9Oct. A three-member team of Film Development Board is leaving Sunday for a four-day 32-nation meet of Asian Film Commission in South Korea.
