SIS PASSNGERS AND CREW OF NA ISLANDER AIRCRAFR KILLED IN CRASH

ALL SIX PASSENGERS AND CREW MEMBERS OF
NA ISLANDER AIRCRAFT CONFIRMED DEAD

Kathmandu, 19L All six passengers and crew members of a
Nepal Army (NA) were killed overnight in the crash of a
Islander aircraft at Dhorpatan, west Nepal, search and rescue
team confirmed Wednesday morning.
The charred bodies of four of six persons have been recovered.
One body is of a male.
The aircraft was on a night flight to the capital from Nepalgunj
when the plane caught fire and crashed at the hunting reserve .
Majors Bishal Singh Rathore and Diwakar Karki were the pilots.
A sick passenger NA was being accompanied by Dr. Capt.
Rabita Thapa and her medical assistant Milan Gotame.
The medical team was accompanying Keshab Airee, a soldier of nCA, and NA and his brother Raghubir Airee.
One member of the search and rescue team had to return from
the remote forest after developing altitude sickness.
