TWO DEAD AND EIGHT MISSING, INCLUDING INDIAN TOURISTS, ON NARAYANI RIVER

Kathmandu, 22 Oct.: Two persons died and eight Indian tourists are missing on Narayani river in Chitwan Saturday
Sic injured have been rushed to hospital in the central district.
The mishap happened when a bridge over the river collapsed.
Nepali guides are among the dead and missing.

NC CAN JOIN THE MAOIST-LED GOVERNMENT SAYS PRESIDENT

Kathmandu, 22 Oct. Main opposition NC can join the Maoist-led government if the party leading the government creates an atmosphere for confidence, party President Sushil Koirala said Saturday.
Talks will be held after Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, who is second Vice-President of UCPN (Maoist), returns from India where he’s currently on a visit.
