BADRI PRASAD NEUPANE APPOINTED CA MEMBER

Kathmandu, 16 Nov.: Speaker Subash Chandra Nembang administered the oath of office of the post of Constituent Assembly Member on Wednesday to central member of the Chure Bhawar National Unity Party, Badri Prasad Neupane, RSS reports.

Present at the program organized at the Speaker’s Office, were Deputy Speaker Purna Kumari Subedi, Nepali Congress Chief Whip Laxman Ghimire, UCPN (Maoist) Chief Whip Dev Gurung and CPN-UML Chief Whip Bhim Acharya, among others.

Chure Bhawar Party Chairman Keshav Mainali had been relieved of the membership after he was sacked from the party. Neupane is now member from the party through the proportional election system.

Neupane was elected after he was proposed by General Secretary of the party Bhumi Prasad Niraula and supported by Chairman Himalaya Bhakta Pradhananga and Treasurer Hari Prasad Pokhrel, said Niraula.
