CAPT. OF MAKALU AIR AIRCRAFT INJURED WHILE LANDING AT MUGU AIRPORT

Kathmandu, 21 Nov.: Capt. Pradip Jung Shah was injured but six passengers escaped unhurt when a Makalu Air skidded off the Talcha Airport runway at Mugu while landing on Monday.
The aircraft took for the district from Nepalgunj at four in the afternoon Monday.

NC HASN’T AGREED TO CA TENURE EXTENSION SAYS NC PRESIDENT

Kathmandu, 21 Nov.: NC President Sushil Koirala said Monday his party should lead a government after30 November when the tenure of constituent assembly (CA)/parliament ends..
UML and Maoists have been leading governments two times each, he said.
Koirala told reporters at his residence Monday, though, government wasn;t the party’s priority.
No agreement has been between reached parties to extend the CA after 30 November and added NC hasn’t taken a decision on extension even as a whip was issued to support six-month of the assembly through an 11th amendment of the interim constitution.
Parliament meets Thursday to extend the tenure through constitution amendment.
