DETAILS OF PM BHATTARAI, MANMOHAN SINGH MEET

Kathmandu, 11 Nov.: Indian Finance Minister Pranab
Mukherjee is visiting Nepal soon to sign an agreement to avoid
double taxation, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai’s Indian
counterpart Manmohan Singh said.
This was covyeyed to Bhattaarai ata meeting between the two in Maldives Friday, the Office of the Prime Minister said.
Implementation of a Nepali suggestion to import electricity fro m India was
also discussed.
Singh expressed happiness over progress in concluding the peace process and assured Indian help..
Singh was invited by Bhattarai to visit Nepal.

13 INJURED IN RUKUM JEEP ACCIDENT

Kathmandu, 11 Nov.: Thirteen persons were injured in a jeep
accident at Ranibazzar in Rukum Friday morning.
Four persons were killed when another jeep fell off a highway
in Dang into a river Friday morning.

RPP-NEPAL REGISTERES PROTEST NOTICE AGAINST FEDERAL STATE STRUCTURE

Kathmandu, 11 Nov.: RPP-Nepal Thursday registered a protest
notice against the 11th amendment to the interim constitution
to form an expert’s panel to suggest federal state.
Parliament meets Friday to amend the interim constitution.
RPP-Nepal wants to give continuity to a unitary state in a new constitution.
