GOVT. LAWYER SEEKS FIVE-YEAR JAIL TERM FOR COMMUNICATION MINISTER GUPTA

Kathmandu, 9 Nov.: Government lawyers Tuesday sought a
five-year jail sentence at the supreme court division court for Communication Minster Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta who is also Chairman of the MJFN (Republican).
CIAA has charged Gupta for amassing assets incommensurate with
his income while serving as minister.
The CIAA has sought a review of a special court judgment that cleared him of charges on technical grounds.

before Metropolitan Police at Hanuman Dhoka Tuesday.
Hamal was summoned for questioning after a woman police
