RPP-NEPAL CHAIRMAN KAMAL THAPA REITERATES POSITION OF CA DISSOLUTION
Kathmandu, 25 Nov.: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N), Kamal Thapa has warned that the Constituent Assembly has lost its significance for failing to produce a constitution despite repeated extension of its term, RSS reports.

Speaking at a program organized by the Himalayan Inter-cultural Association here today, he said the people would not stay quiet if the CA's term is extended again after November 30.

Also today, at a face-to-face organised by Reporters' Club Nepal, Thapa said the seven-point agreement reached between the three parties and the United Democratic Madhesi Front had failed.

The agreement has weakened nationality, increased foreign interference and boosted to the totalitarian forces, he said.



Thapa said the next step should be to go for fresh elections than extend the term of the CA.

FRENCH AMBASSADOR, PM MEET
Kathmandu , 25 Nov.: French Ambassador to Nepal Jean Charles Demarquis called on Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai at the latter's office at Singha Durbar in the Capital on Friday, RSS reports.

On the occasion, the duo held talks on mutual relationship, informed the Office of the Prime Minister.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Dr. Bhattarai had apprised Ambassador Demarquis about the progress made so far in the peace and constitution writing processes.
