LAWMAKER BABAN SINGH ON SECOND HUNGER STRIKE
Kathmandu, 16 Nov.: Laxmaker Baban Singh, again went on an indefinite strike Wednesday pressing for an end to corruption and violence.
He’s an independent from No.1 constituency of Rautahat.
Singh launched his death fast at Rautahat district administration office pressing eight demands.
He went on his first strike 21 October with similar demands.

ELDEST SUNSARI MUSLIM DIES AT 110
Kathmandu, 16 Nov.: The eldest person of Muslim community in Sunsari district, Haji Phoolwati Khatun passed away at 110 at her own residence at Madheli VDC-8, Wednesday morning. She was 110, RSS reports from Biratngar.
Khatun was so old that she had given birth to a child even before an earthquake of 1990 BS.
According to Haji Abdul Sakur, son of the deceased, she was of religious nature and had gone to Mecca Madina of Saudi Arabia for Hajj in 2028 BS.
Haji Phoolwati is survived by six sons, two daughters and dozens of grand children, and great grand children.
