MAOIST COMMANDERS PLEDGE TO IMPLEMENT SEVEN-POINT ACCORD
Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: Following the signing of an agreement to end the delayed peace process and constitution drafting through a seven-point agreement between ruling coalition parties and two man opposition parties NC and UML this week, Maoist commanders Thursday extended support to implement the accord.
The two-day meeting which concluded Thursday was
convened at the residence of Chairman Prachanda.
Commanders will help implement the accord, Commander Nanda Kishore Pun said.
The Maoist chief told Parliament Thursday ‘the historic accord in in the interest of Nepal and Nepalis’.
Provisions relating to integration and resettlement of 19,000 plus
combatants will have to be implemented in another 22 days.
Only 6,500 former fighters are being integrate in Nepal Army through a directorate. Nnnn

PAKISTANI NATIONAL ARRESTED WITH 4 MILLION FAKE INDIAN CURENCY NOTES

Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: A Pakistani national identified as
Mohammad only was arrested Thursday at the capital’s
Tribhuvan International Airport with around 4 million fake
Indian currency notes according to airport officials.
He flew into the capital via Oman.
India has expressed concern with the outflow of fake Indian
currency notes across the border via Nepal and asked for its
curb at the last bilateral security meeting in New Delhi.
