MEDICAL TEAM SENT THURSDAY TO SAPTARI WHERE DIARRHEA OUTBREAK HAS KILLED TWO PERSONS


Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: A medical team with doctors and medicine werth one million rupees was sent Thursday to Saptari where an outbreak of diarrhea has killed two persons and more that 150 others have fallen sick.
The team was sent after public complaints of inadequate treatment.
A health camp has been organized at a village in the terai district where the disease broke out one week ago.

KAMAL THAPA IN SEMI-FINALS OF TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Kathmandu, 3 Nov.: Veteran player Kamal Thapa, who is RPP-Nepal chairman, reached the semi-final of the Asian Senior Open Tennis Tournament in Pattaya, Thailand, Wednesday.
He beat India’s PR Raju 6-0, 6-1 to reached the semi-final.
