MORE DETAILS OF GOVT.WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT BILL

Kathmandu, 18 Nov.: The Mohan Baidya faction UCPN (Maoist) and a caucus of janajatis of various parties opposed formation of an experts panel to suggest a federal structure.
The fresh development is a blow to the blow to the
establishment faction of the UCPN Maoist leading the government with six Madeshbadi parties.
Baidya has come down heavily against the establishment faction of Chairman and Prime Minister
Baburam Bhattarai.
Baidya also opposes integration, resettlement and retirement of the establishment for 19,000 plus
former Maoist fighters.
The setback for the government came as the Big Three agreed at a meeting Friday to pass the interim constitution amendment.
