VDC SECRETARIES IN NAWALPARASI BOYCOTT WORK
Kathmandu, 9 Nov.: VDC Secretaries Welfare and Rights Protection Centre, Nawalparasi has announced to bring their administrative works to a grinding halt from Wednesday, demanding the release of their colleague, RSS reports from Kawaswoti.

The Centre says its attention has been drawn by the incident of arresting Shivamandir VDC secretary Khadka Bahadur Thanet citing irregularities in the works of maintaining registers and records.

It is regretful to see VDC secretary in detention, stated a press release issued by the Centre Chairperson Chiranjibi Aryal and Secretary Rajendra Prasad Devkota.

Through the press release, the Centre has also urged the Local Body Employees Association to cooperate in this regard.

Service recipients are bearing the brunt of three-day strike announced by VDC secretaries in the district.
