NC SUPPORTS SIX-MONTH EXTENSION OF CA/PARLIAMENT
Kathmandu, 20 Nov.: Main opposition Sunday implicitly supported a six-month extension of the constituent assembly (CA)/parliament after 30 November when their tenures expire.
The party asked its lawmakers Sunday to vote for a 11th amendment bill to the interim constitution Thursday.

Debika Acharya, 30, of Diktel-4, who fell unconscious after consuming poison on Thursday evening, breathed her last yesterday as she could not be taken to Kathmandu for treatment, said police.

The family members of the deceased had rushed her to the airport to take her to Kathmandu. But, they failed to do so as the Nepal Airlines Corporation was unable to make any flights following the bad weather.

She had consumed poison over a family dispute.
