PARLIAMENT MEET POSTPONED UNTIL TUESDAYMON REQUEST OF BIG THREE AND MADESHBADI FRONT
Kathmandu, 27 Nov.: A scheduled meeting of
parliament Sunday was deferred without
assembling by posting a notice on the board of the secretariat.
The notice said the meeting was deferred until Tuesday citing ‘special reason’ although a meeting of the Big Thee and a front of Madeshbadi parties in government asked the meeting be deferred.
The legislature was scheduled to discuss and approve an 11th amenddddent of the interim constitution to extend the tenure of
constituent assembly by another six months after
30 November.
The Big Three and Madeshbadi front formed a
task force to draft a working calendar to ensure promulgation of a constitution within the next extended tenure after
30 November.

Pokharel of UML and Communication Minister
and Chairman of UDmF Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta are ask force members.
