PM BHATTARAI SAID HE WAITED TWO MONTHS BEFORE EXPANDING CABINET

Kathmandu, 15 Nov. Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai said he
waited for waited for two months before expanding his
this week to a jumbo size of 49 members.
He said this while talking to a select group of reporters at his official residence Tuesday.
“I waited for two months. How long was I to wait? NC and UMLare not cooperating. Even one group in the party is opposed,’ Bhattarai
said and revealed coalition partners has submitted names of
ministerial candidates then.
The jumbo cabinet was a’ compulsion’ to complete integration and constitution drafting, he said and argued the government size was small compared to the parliament strength of 601 member.
He reminded reporters the government was a coalition.
Bhattarai sad his government will complete the peace process and constitution and the government will take form of a national government by November end.
The premier said hen Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal started the amnesty process for Maoist lawmaker Balkrishna Dhungel without protests from any
quarter.
