PM BHATTARAI HOPES THERE’LL BE AGREEMENT ON STATE COMMISSION LATER MONDAY

Kathmandu, 21 Nov.: Prime Minster Baburam Bhattarai said Monday a state restructuring commission will be formed later Monday.
There was no agreement at a meeting of Maoists front of six Madeshibadi parties and opposition NC and UML Monday morning; they’re meeting again in the afternoon.
Communications Minister and Chairman of MJFN (Republican) Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta charged the Big Three for backtracking on a federal structure.
‘Slightly differing opinions in the ruling coalition parties were seen,” NC leader Dr, Ram Sharan Mahat said after a meeting between the Big Three and a front of six Madeshbadi parties.
A two-point between UCPN (Maoist) and main opposite parties agreed to launch the commission.
UCPN (Maoist) Secretary CP Gajurel also said homework in ruling coalition parties for the morning meeting was inadequate requiring further consultations.
