PRESIDENT YADAV INAUGURATES 49TH ANNUAL WORLD CONGRESS OF IHRA
Kathmandu, 29 Nov.: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Monday launched the 49th Annual World Congress International Hotel and Restaurant
(IHRA) in the capital.
Nearly 130 delegates from 30 countries are participating in the
Congress.
Hotel Association of Nepal (HAN) is hosting the meeting.

NEPAL EMBASSY INITIATIVE IN SAUDI ARABIA TO STAY EXECUTION OF CONVICTED NEPALI

Kathmandu, 29 Nov.: The Nepali embassy in Saudi Arabia has
initiated a move to stay the execution of Umesh Yadav sentenced to
death by a court for murdering a Pakistani, Nagarik reports.
‘We’ve started initiative by writing not to immediately go ahead with
the order,’ the newspaper quoted Ambassador Udaya Raj Pandey as saying.
He said letters have been sent to concerned government offices and
agencies not to go ahead with the execution.
