RS. 54V MILLION FOOD ASSISTANCE

Kathmandu, Nov 14: Germany has provided a grant of Rs 54 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) in Nepal to help improve livelihoods of food-insecure families in the far-western region.

A press release issued by WFP-Nepal says the fund will be used to provide food and cash assistance to 46,500 people in Bajhang and Baitadi districts for three and half months through WFP´s current food assistance operation.
