SITA AIR DRONIER DAMAGED WHILE LANDING AT NEPALGUNJ

Kathmandu, 26 Nov.: All passengers and crew of a Sita Air German-built twin-engine Dronier are safe while landing at Nepalgunj airport after takeoff Saturday from Jumla airportm first reports said.
The aircraft was slightly damaged.
Passengers jumped out of the emergency door.
Aircraft accidents are occurring regularly.
There was another accident lthismonth.

PM BHATTARAI NEW PATRON OF NEPAL SCOUT

Kathmandu, 26 Nov.: Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has taken the oath of Nepal Scout amidst a function in the Capital on Saturday, RSS reports.

There is a provision of making Prime Minister the patron of Nepal Scout.

Speaking at the function organized at the Prime Minister´s official residence at Baluwatar, he said the scouts campaign was necessary for making people with decent character and build a new Nepal, and assured that the government will provide necessary support and increase the grant to forward the campaign.

Similarly, Chief Commissioner of Nepal Scout Shreeram Lamichhane said Nepal Scout has been working for environment conservation, income generation, blood donation and other social activities.

Nepal Scout, which was established in 2009 BS, has around 65,000 scouts across the country.
