THREE AMBASSADORS NOMINATED BY FOREIGN MINISTRY

NAMES OF THREE AMBASSADORS PROPOSED

Kathmandu, 8 Nov.: Names of three persons were proposed

Monday by the foreign ministry to take up assignments India,
China and UAE, Naya Patrika reports.
Ram Karki of the UCPN (Maoist) has been nominated ambassador-designate to India; he is attached with the party foreign department. Dr, Mahesh Maskey’s name has been proposed for ambassador to China.
Foreign ministry joint secretary Dhanandha Jha has been
nominated as ambassador to UAE.
The names have to be endorsed by the cabinet.

Kathmandu, 8 Nov. Main opposition NC Vice-president Ram
Chandra Paudel Tuesday claimed leadership of a new government iwhile as the party previously prioritized implementation of a 7-point
agreement between ruling parties and two opposition to complete the peace process .
Paudel claimed the leadership as the leader of the government as the leader of the parliamentary party leader while talking to reporters in Damauli.
NC leaders most have been demanding a change in government
under the party’s leadership urging a national unity
government to complete the peace process and constitution drafting.
President Sushil Koirala said based ‘on natural justice’ the NC
should lead the government as UML and Maoists have been
leading three successive governments.
A section is pressing Koirala to take government leadership;
Sher Bahadur Deuba is also as aspirant.
