THREE PARTY MEET WITH JANAJATI CAUCUS

After the obstruction caused to the task of 11th amendment to the interim constitution on November 16 with strong protests from UCPN (Maoist) Baidhya camp,
UML’s parliamentarians from indigenous nationalities and Madhes-based ethnic groups, the big parties have intensified their efforts to explore the meeting point for this.

BHATTARAI GOVT. CAN’T BE NATIONAL GOVT.: SHANKER POKHREL OF UML
Kathmandu, Nov.: Secretary of the CPN-UML Shankar Pokhrel said the rationale of the present government will be ended after November 30, adding that transforming the present government into a national consensus government is not
possible either, RSS reports from Dang..

Speaking at an interaction organized by the Reporters Club of Nepal, Dang, in Tulsipur, on Friday, he said the government is formed on the base of the four-point agreement, therefore, unless the agreement was scrapped with political consensus, no national consensus government was possible.

UML Secretary Pokhrel claimed the present government had failed to play its responsible role, that´s why it could not be changed into a national consensus government.

He criticized Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai for forming a jumbo cabinet though he talked about austerity by boarding a Mustang car.

Pokhrel said the government should be more serious for returning the captured land and property, and stressed on the need of concluding the regrouping of the Maoist Combatants within November 30.

SCHOOL CHILD MISSING IN NAWALPARASI
Kathmandu, 18 Nov.: A school child has gone missing from Shivamandir Village Development Committee (VDC) of Nawalparasi district, RSS reports from Parasi.

Sabin Rana (9) of Shivamandir-3 went missing since Thursday.

He has not come in contact after going school on Thursday, police said quoting family members of the missing.

Search for the missing is underway, police informed.
