UPDATE INDIAN MINISTER SAYS INDIA COMMITTED TO SUPPORT AFTER MEETING PRESIDENT DR. YADAV
Kathmandu, 27 Nov.: Visiting Finance Minister of India Pranab Mukharjee called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at the Presidential Office in Shital Niwas
on Sunday afternoon, RSS reports.
On the occasion, matters relating to mutual cooperation and bilateral interests were discussed. Besides, the meeting also dwelt on the issues of Nepal-India relations.
Recalling his past visits to India, President Dr Yadav praised the cordial relations existing between the two neighbours.
Similarly, expressing happiness over the acceleration of the peace process, Minister Mukharjee said India always wanted to see peace, prosperity and political stability in Nepal.
"India is committed to extend possible support to Nepal which is passing through a historic transition", added the Indian Finance Minister.
