At a press meet organized here today by Revolutionary Journalists' Association Nepal Abadh-Madhes, Poudel, who is also the politburo member of the Unified CPN-Maoist, claimed that the national consensus government also will be formed under the leadership of Dr Bhattarai on the basis of four-point and seven-point deals so as to bring the peace and constitution-making processes to a logical end.

The peace and statute-making initiatives will witness halt if the process to change the government is initiated at the moment, he said, adding, 'The country will slide into political quagmire if the peace and constitution-making process is not completed'.

Poudel further said the incumbent government is bearing risks for taking ahead the processes of peace and constitution, adding the government has also put the agenda of maintaining good governance on high priority.

Stressing that the internal rift surfaced in the Maoist party should be settled through the general convention, leader Poudel claimed the party will not split by any means.
