Kathmandu, 20 Dec.: Ram Nandan Yadav was abducted from
his home village in Mohottari Monday morning, district police
said.
Two persons were released after abduction one week earlier.
One person was released after paying a one million rupee ranson.

DR. MUKESH MASKEY LEAVING FOR BEIJING TO
ASSUME RESPONSIBILTY AS AMBASSADOR
Kathmandu, 20 Dec.: Dr.Mukesh Maskey, ambassador-designate to China, leaves for Beijing next week to take up his assignment, he said
Tuesday.
He’s a nominee of the Baburam Bhattarai government.
Dr. Maskey assumes responsibilities when Nepal and China are
working out details of a rare Nepal visit of Prime Minister Wen Jiabao.
New dates for the visit are being discussed
He was first scheduled to arrive 20 December for a three-day visit.

rectify in one week the irregular transfer of Director General
