LARGEST HANUAMAN STATUE IN NEPAL
Kathmandu, 26 Dec.:The Hanuman idol built in Krishnanagar of Kapilbastu district has been claimed to be the largest Hanuman idol of Nepal, RSS reports from Kapilvasthu.

Its builder Nardas Baba has claimed it to be the largest Hanuman idol in Nepal.

The statue built at Shiva Tole of Krishnanagar VDC -7 is 39 feet high and 18 ft wide.

The saffron color statue has Ram and Sita idols on the chest of the Hanuman.

Baba Nardas said he had collected donations for the statue after visiting various villages of Nepal and India.

Rs. 800,000 has been already spent for building the statue, said the Statue Construction Committee.

The idol was built by local craftsmen and Mungerilal of India.

Baba said he established the idol as per his determination to build one when he saw a large Hanuman idol when he reached Srinagar of India for pilgrimage eight years ago.

For the ease of the devotees, a small idol has also been built under the large statue.

Baba Sheshman said, we should take inspiration from Hanuman, as Hanuman is powerful, fearless and trustworthy.
