They were protesting parliamentary action against him when he broke mikes and obstructed parliament session forcing the adjournment of legislative session.
Sah attempted to show solidarity with a Dalit boy killed in Kalikot for entering the kitchen of a man perceived from a high class.

TEACHERS ANNOUNCE STIR
Kathmandu, 29 Dec.: All Nepal Teachers’ Association and All Nepal Teachers’ Union Wednesday announced protest programmes from 5 January pressing government to give permanent status to temporary teachers.
They presented demands to the education ministry the same day.
announced protests against the government, saying the eighth amendment to the Education Act will not address their demands.
Sit-ins , non-cooperation and school closure programmes were announced from 5 to 15 January.
A recent eighth amendment of the education won’t address demands, they said.

MAN ACCUSED OF HIDING ABDUCTORS ARRESTED

Kathmandu, 29 Dec.: The District Police Office, Bara arrested Nanda Lal Saha (55) of Dharmanagar-9 accusing him of hiding abductors, RSS reports from Kalaiya.

Some unidentified persons kidnapped Mahendra Chaudhary (50) of Bara, Bhodaha-4 from his house and made him captive at the house of Saha since December 26.

Abducted Chaudhary had managed to escape from the place where he was kept and informed police about the incident.

The abductors had demanded ransom worth Rs. two million for the release, Chaudhary informed.

INFLOW OF TOURISTS TO BIRTHPLACE OF THE BUDDHA SURGE

Kathmandu, 29 Dec.: The inflow of tourists has surged in Tilaurakot, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, when there are few days to go to bid farewell to the Nepal Tourism Year-2011, RSS reports from Kapilvasthu.

Number of foreign tourists visiting the tourism site enriched with archeological and historical importance has abruptly gone up almost at the end of the tourism year.

As many as 23,300 foreign tourists excluding Indians had arrived Tilaurakot during the first 11 months of the year. Around 1,500 Indian nationals turned up the historical site during the period.

Likewise, 700 foreigners visited the place during the period from first to third week of December.

According to the records of attendance book kept at Lumbini Development Trust, Tilaurakot, score of domestic tourists visiting the Lord Buddha;s birthplace stood at 1,434.
