DPM GACHEDHAR LEAVES FOR CHINA UPDATE
Kathamandu, 25 Dec.: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachedhar left for a five-day China visit Sunday
accompanied by senior Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force officers, the home ministry said.
The delegation includes top foreign ministry officials.
Gachedhar is expected to discuss security arrangements during a rare visit of Prrime Minister Wen Jiabao
The visit that was to begin 20 December was postponed. creating a diplomatic ripple, stir and speculation.
RSS adds: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar left for a visit to China on Sunday at the invitation of Minister for Public Security in China, Meng Jianzhu.
He will be in China from December 25 until December 30.
During the visit, DPM Gachchhadar will hold talks with Chinese Minister Meng on matters of mutual interest.
There are Inspector General of Police (IGP) of the Armed Police Force (APF) Shailendra Kumar Shrestha, Major General of the Nepal Army, Nar Bahadur Kandel, Additional Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Bhisma Prasain and senior officers at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Home Ministry in the delegation, informed the
Home Ministry.

MOHAN BAIDYA GROUP PREPARES FOR MONDAY'S CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF MAOISTS
Kathmandu, 25 Dec.: Mohan Baidya faction in UCPN Maoist is preparing for Monday meting of the central committee which began
Saturday.
Secretary of the party CP Gajurel who is aligned with Baidya in a tussle with the establishment of Chairman Prachanda and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai said Baidya will present a counter political proposal at committee when meets the central committee meet resumes.
The Maoist chief presented a 10-point proposal sressing party unity and completing the peace process and
constitution drafting.
The central committee met after four postponements.

MISSING PYUTHAN MOTHER, DAUGHTER FOUND
Kathmandu, 25 Dec.: A mother and daughter of Damri of Pyuthan district, who were missing for the past 21 days, have been found, RSS reports from Pyuthan.
According to police, Dhana Roka, 25, of Damri-4 and her eight months old- daughter were missing from December 4.
Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre formed under the Women and Children's Office, Dang, found the Roka mother and daughter from Tulsipur in Dang district.
They were sent to Pyuthan with the police on Saturday after keeping them for some days in the Centre.
