INJURED MAOIST DEAD
Kathmandu, 14 Dec.: One person who was injured from bullets in a clash between two groups of UCPN-Maoist at Chandbela of Sunsari district died in Biratngar while undergoing treatment, RSS reports from Biratnagar.
Gopalkumar Chaudhary of Chandbela VDC-2 had been injured in a dispute at the Bibahapanchami fair in Chandbela two weeks ago. He was injured by three bullets fired by unknown people. The injured was a Maoist worker.
Fallowing the incident, he was admitted at the BPKIHS Dharan for treatment on the same day on December 2 and bullet was extracted, but was referred to Nobel Hospital Biratnagar for lack of bed.
He died this morning and postmortem was conducted, said the family.
Police has been investigating the incident.

COLD WAVE HITS KAILALI
Kathmandu 14 Dec.:: Normal life in Kailali has been affected due to increasing cold as a result of the cold wave that is sweeping across the region for the past few days, RSS reports from Dhangadi.
Normal life in the district has remained affected for the past few days due to the cold wave accompanied by thick fog, according to the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology, Dhangadhi office.
With the dip in mercury, the number of people suffering from the cold-related diseases such as pneumonia, respiratory problems and common cold has gone up, said the Seti Zonal Hospital.
