NC, UML NOW SAY GOVT. CHANGE ISN’T A PRIORITY
Kathmandu, 11 Dec.: Two main opposition parties NC and UML concluded Sunday a national government should be formed only after completion of the peace process and constitution drafting.
They held a meeting Sunday at the UML parliamentary party office Sunday.
The parties concluded the peace process in moving ahead.
Main opposition NC had previously been demanding an immediate replacement of the Baburam Bhattarai government by a new team led by NC.
In a changed policy of the two opposition parties, concluded government change wasn’t an immediate priority.

MAOIST ATTEMPT TO DEVELOP COMMON POLICY AMID DEEP DIFFERENCES
Kathmandu, 11 Dec.: Amid deep differences in he party leading the government and also the country’s biggest party, UCPN (Maoist) parliamentary party board met in the capital to develop a common policy.
A deep division has emerged in the party with differences on policy in public with top leaders warning of a split.
Chairman Prachanda and all three vice-chairmen Mohan Baidya, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kazi Shestha attended the meet which hasted one hour.
