NEPAL IN GROUP A OF AFC CHALLENGE CUP BEING HOSTED IN NEPAL

Kathmandu, 1 Dec.: Nepal. Palestine, Maldives and Turkmenistan are in Group A of
the AFC Challenge Cup in a draw held in Kathmandu Thursday.
North Korea, India, Tajikistan and Philippines were
Are in Group B.
Nepal plays Palestine in its first match 8 March ,
and will meet against Maldives 10 March
and Tukmenistan 12 March 12.
Top two teams from each group will qualify for the
semifinals to be played on March 16.

Nepal is a 2006 semifinalist.

NEPAL RANKED AMONG TOP 47 MOST CORRUPT COUNTRIES
Kathmandu, 1 Dec.: Nepal has been ranked 154 by Transparency International (TI) with a 2.2 score rising eight places compared to last year in a damning
international of international corruption perception index (CPI) 2011.
Two governments in the year were led by communist UML and CPN (Maoist).

Countries have been ranked from highly corrupt very clean statesss.
New Zealand followed by Finland and Denmark are ranked the
least corrupted countries; Somalia and North Korea are the most corrupted countries.
