CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL MEETS LATER TUESDAY
Kathamandu, 6 Dec.: A meeting of the constitutional council chaired by Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai meets to appoint chiefs of constitutional bodies along with senior office bearers.
Positions have been vacant for a long time with no appointments by successive premiers.
There are vacancies in CIAA, Election Commission , Public Service Commission and other bodies.

NO VISAS FOR THOSE BEHIND BANDHS STRIKES
Kathmandu, 6 Dec.: EU member countries have again circulated a notice saying visas won’t be issued to representatives of organizations and groups behind bands and strikes ro visas for those behind, Kantipur reports.
The international community renewed the circular after UML
Youth Association announced a Valley strike Tuesday.
The strike was withdrawn after Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai assured activities of Youth Self-employment Fund will be immediately stopped and investigation ordered.

ONE LAWMAKER WITH THREE PASSPORTS
Kathmandu, 6 Dec.: MJFN (Republican) Salman Khatun took a visa for visits with Canada with one diplomatic passport Ashoj 2067, Pratibha Baskota Kantipur reports.
One month later, she visited Canada on another diplomatic passport.
She presented another diplomatic passport
in 2065 to the Canadian embassy
