PRACHANDA SUB-COMMITTEE MEETS; NO MAJOR AGREEMENTS

PRACHANDA SUB-COMMITTEE MEETS
Kathmandu, 10 Dec: A Prachanda sub-committee to resolve differences on themes to be incorporated in a constitution met Saturday morning after meetings were earlier put off indefinitely by the Maoist chief citing time eas needed for homework.
The abrupt indefinite adjournment raised party concerns after an agreement to promulgate a delayed constitution by 27 May.
Saturday’s meeting admitted there was no consensus between parties in the sub-committee with differences within political parties.
Party leaders called for inter and intra-party resolution of differences.
The sub-committee meets again Tuesday.
