TANKA ANGBUHANG ELECTED CAN CHIEF UNANIMOUSLY
Kathmandu, 18 Dec.: Chairman Tanka Angbuhang of Cricket Association of
Nepal (CAN) was elected unanimously Sunday in Chitwan along with other
office bearers in the first association election in 64 years.
Former Captain Pawan Agrawal withdrew his candidacy in favour of the Maoist
candidate who was just nominated by government.
The Association general assembly also elected executive members unanimously.
The executive committee and National Sports Council also nominate some
executive members later.
