UPDATE NEPAL BEATS HONG KONG IN ACC TWENTY20

Kathmandu, 3 Dec.: Nepal defeated Hong Kong Saturday by two
wickets in the first match of the ACC Twenty 20 Championship held at the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

Nepal scored the target of 115 runs for loss of nine wickets.

THREE KILLED IN ILAM VEHICULAR COLLISION

Kathmandu, 3 Dec.: Three persons were killed and 14 others injured when a passenger jeep collided with a bus at Kiteni, Kolbung VDC-9, of Ilam district along the Mechi Highway on Saturday morning, RSS reports from Ilam.

The deceased are said to be the jeep driver, identified as Rajan Rai, and two passengers. They died while undergoing treatment in different hospitals in Jhapa.

The accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 6120) heading to Jamunkhadi of Jhapa from Ilam district headquarters for picnic collided with the jeep (Ra 1 Ja 166) coming from the opposite direction, the police said.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Kankai and Budhabare-based hospitals, according to DSP Bishnu KC .
