BOMB BEING DEFUSED ON KOHALPUR-NEPALGUNJ
HIGHWAY

Kathmandu, 6 Jan.: An army bomb disposal unit is defusing a
bomb Friday morning planted on Kohalpur-Nepalgunj highway
planted there midnight by a terai rebel outfit.
Movement of buses and trucks have been disrupted on long and
shot distance routes with long queues on the highway in Banke.

PM BHATTARAI ON 48TH VISIT OF HOME DISTRICT

Kathmandu, 6 Jan. Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai left by
car Friday morning for 48th monthly visit of home district
Gorkha from where he was elected to parliament.
The premier visits his district every month.
He’s scheduled to address half a dozen public meetings before
returning to the capital/
He cut short his last visit after reporting sick.
